Important information please read

Covid 19 Guidence 
Please be assured that we are closely following the Welsh Government guidelines to ensure your health and well-being with social distancing, enhanced cleaning and sanitation throughout Chilterns. 

Bookings
A deposit for the first night’s accommodation by a major credit or debit card is required. The standard booking deposit will be the cost of the first night’s accommodation per room. For group bookings the standard deposit will be equal to the first night’s accommodation per room booked. The minimum cancellation period for bookings is seven days.  We do not accept cheques.

Arrival and departure 
Bedrooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Earlier arrivals may be allowed if booked directly with us.
Latest check out on your day of departure by 10.30 am. Sorry we do not offer late check outs.
Parked vehicles must also be removed at this time in order to accommodate our new arrivals

Parking
We offer a free on site car park for guests of Chilterns on a first come basis. There is also free adjacent on-street parking.
As we are within easy flat walking distance for pretty much every thing you may require in Llandudno, most of our regular guests simply
park and leave their vehicle until departure. If you intend to use your vehicle daily we recommend on-street parking. 
Please do not park your vehicle on our car park without authorisation prior to your check in. 

Payment
Payment of the bill in full, minus any advance payments must be made prior to departure from Chilterns. Upon arrival we reserve the right to request preauthorisation of credit or debit card. Where payment is to be by cash we request the guest to pay in full on arrival.
Please note we do not accept Amex, Diners or personal cheques. 
 
 Cancellation Policy 
Cancellation prior to 7 days of your arrival date should incur no further charge, but regrettably cancellations after that may be charged at the full room rate for the full duration of your booking unless the room can be re-let. We advise our guests to consider taking out adequate insurance as failure to show may be charged in full. No refund will be given for curtailment of a stay unless with discretion.

Booking Agents
When booked through a booking agent, any cancellations need to be processed directly with the agent. 

External purchases
Wines, spirits, beers etc are allowed for consumption in guests rooms, however takeaway food is strictly not allowed.

Pets 
Pets are not accepted anywhere in the guesthouse.

Adults only
Please note that Chilterns is for Adults over 18 
(On rare occasions a teenage child may be allowed to share a room with a guardian by prior arrangement, (direct bookings only))

Smoking 
Please note, we operate a non-smoking policy throughout the guest house as required by law.
Any guest found smoking within the the guesthouse will be asked to leave immediately. The guest will also be charged for the full
remainder of the booking plus one extra night will be imposed for the cost of removal of tobacco smells from the bedroom.

Behavior 
We reserve the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of guests, if corrective action is requested by us, and in the event of failure to comply with our requests, we may terminate the booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.

Issues arising during your stay
 Any complaint or issue regarding your stay should be made immediately please, we will do our utmost to rectify any problems.

 Discrimination
It is our policy not to discriminate on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, creed, sex, marital status, age, ethnic origin or disability. 
Guests are kindly expected to adhere to this policy and we may, without incurring any liability to the guest, remove from the guesthouse
 any person or persons causing offence against this policy.

Liability
Other than for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Chilterns, our liability to the guest is limited to the price of the booking.
Chilterns does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for damage to, or theft from, or theft of, vehicles parked on our premises. 
It's common sense but we advise all guests and visitors to remove any valuables on show from parked vehicles.
We will not be liable for failure to perform if that the failure is caused by any factor beyond our control. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment in them by any act, or neglect. The guest will be requested to pay to Chilterns on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.
